The launch of our new site and video comes with tremendous excitement and great expectations. Before I highlight the site and video, I need to give a shout out to all the people that have brought us to this point.
As I look back over the last 6 months when we started these two initiatives, I’m grateful to have been involved in the collaborative process. The work put in by Ground Floor Public Affairs, MsJones Design and Portal A has been top notch. These professionals captured our passion for the industry that we love and became part of our family for the last 6 months. I can’t thank you enough.
Our Board and legal team has worked tirelessly to deliver on our objectives and they continue to do so. It’s never easy but it’s always fulfilling. We still have much to do, but I know with your resolve we will meet the challenges that Motor Club towers face. Thank you for putting aside our own interests for the interests of the collective in our industry.
I would also like to thank the California Tow Truck Association for their support. You’ve blazed a trail that has set a positive example for our industry for decades. You’ve allowed us under your tent to help fight the good fight for all towers. Our issues are too big and broad not to work together. I’m afraid to say industry and motor club issues we face will only get bigger. Our motto has been strength in numbers. That couldn’t be more accurate.
Finally I’d like to thank our members. Three years ago you believed with us that it was time to solve the issues we faced. You believed that if we worked together we can make a difference. Without your support and financial contributions we would not be where we are today. Whatever challenges lie ahead for us you can be certain the Coalition will be standing side by side, arm in arm with you.
Before I close, let me highlight some of our web site features. Our video is on the home page when you visit the site. A shout out to Alberto Guzman, the Alongi Family and their crews for an incredible job they did. There is a Members login section. For new members this will allow you to sign up and pay your dues online and give you your own log in credentials for member only access. If you are a current member, you still want to go through the process to set up your account. Pay Pay will be a payment platform we will be offering to pay dues and other contributions from our members. There is a testimonial page that has been added to allow us as towers to share our stories. If you have an incredible experience you’d like to share, submit it to us and we will post it. Finally we are working on a Member forum page and a page that will allow you to post equipment for sale. Once we have our legal team sign off on this then we expect to have this up soon.
I hope you’re as excited as I am with the changes to the website and the video. Our PR campaign will resonate well into the future. Thank you for being a part of it.
